COMPETITION STRUCTURE

UK League Championship
The UK League runs every week. There is a promotion and relegation structure through the top 4 divisions and down through multiple qualifier Leagues.

Barnet were first promoted to the UK Premier in January 2007 and we have been there just about every week since. We typically have 20-30 players playing each week. There is no limit to the number of players, or to the amount of points any player can score, so the more the merrier – every point counts!

A top 6 finish is required to qualify for Europe. As of the time of writing (April 2008), Barnet have qualified for Europe on no less than 33 occasions, the most of any small UK club. Our stats are updated regularly in the Statistics section.

Europe
The top 64 teams from across Europe qualify for a knockout tournament on Thursday and Friday each week. The draw is random and in tennis style, so it is possible to figure out who you will play next.

Rounds are timed as follows:

Round 1: Thursday 10am – Friday 10am

Round 2: Friday 10.05am – Friday 12.00pm

Round 3: Friday 12.05pm – 2.00pm

Quarter Finals: Friday 2.05pm – 4.00pm

Semi-Finals: Friday 4.05pm – 6.00pm

Final: Friday 6.05pm – 8.00pm

As of the time of writing (April 2008), Barnet have reached the European Quarter Finals on no less than three occasions, by far the best performance of any small club.

We have beaten many, many big names from across Europe, including FC Porto, Paris St Germain, Valencia, Sampdoria, and so on.
